   BTW, Mr. Naik is culpable on the same count he accuses Mr. Shourie to be. His exposition on the Bhagavad Gita is incomplete and is introductory at best. The “main context” is somewhat later and if had read those chapters and understood, he would have seen the folly of the “I Strive”/Jihad model in Koran..

    @adee, Check out tombofjesus dot com. Or just do a google search on “Jesus lived in India”. There has been a lot of scholarly research done on the subject. In fact, there’s a new movie coming out “The Aquarian Gospels”. Jesus was a Yogi saint like hundreds of saints of India. Nothing wrong with that. Muhammad doesn’t pass the saint test with his pedophilia, polygamy, and murder~!

    @adee, Why would Hindus need to take refuge behind cults that started from Hinduism? Moses and Jesus went to the Himalayas to study Yoga. Muhammad was a Shiva Lingam idol worshipper in Kaaba.     @adee, A Hindu does not submit to Islam or a demi-god Allah, neither does it take refuge behind Christianity. It is an eternal religion (Sanatana Dharma). Ignorant people keep converting from one religion to another to find that is a bigger lie and after years and years of searching turn to Vedanta for true knowledge. You are welcome to your forefathers religions if you are a true seeker, but if you are just interested in growing the numbers of some dumb cult, you’re better off with Al-Taqqiyah.

    @adee, Study China – They reintegrated Tibet, then Hong Kong, soon Taiwan and Mongolia, and then other nations in the south. I have not heard from a single Indian or Pakistani about peaceful reintegration of the Indian subcontitnent into a single secular, democratic, united, prosperous and powerful nation. There’s no point in bickering and quarelling over land or religious dogma, dividing and killing own people and creating even more smaller states that will sink into more poverty and militancy.

    @adee, Pathan troublemakers from the Northwest Pakistan started and have been causing riots and terror in Kashmir. The Maharaja of Kashmir had joined India. Pakistan’s rap that Kashmir has a majority of muslims and hence it belongs to Pakistan or should be independent is a bogus argument. There are many local muslim majorities within India and no one has had problems with a secular India. The Brits incited Jinnah and he foolishly made the mistake of taking the bait of division.

    @adee, Arab invaders ruled Greater India (i.e. India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Sri Lanka) for many centuries. Many Hindu temples and Buddhist shrines were converted to mosques during the tyranny of Islamic rule. Babri masjid is the main Hindu temple of Lord Ram in Ayodhya and has been reconverted back to its original form as a temple. All people of Indic origins should be proud of it. Compare that with countless temples demolished in Pakistan and millions of Hindus exterminated.

    @adee, During the unnecessary partition in 1947, trains going in both directions were looted and a million people were killed in the riots. Like it or not, Jinnah was the sole person responsible for that massive genocide of both hindus and muslims crossing over. There was no reason for the division and subsequent animosity in the first place. There are more muslims in India than in Pakistan and they live happily and peacefully in a secular India.

    its wrong….only once when hindus caused BABRI masjid to fall…only one temple was made fall in lahore…and almost all of the hindus went to idia peacfully..but the trains coming from india were full of muslim corpses..dead people!!!
