Written by Mr Brett as well as Greg Graffin The Kyoto Protocol is the custom to the general Framework Convention upon Climate Change with the design of shortening hothouse gases which means meridian change. It was concluded upon eleven Dec 1997 during the 3rd Conference of the Parties to the covenant when they met in Kyoto, as well as entered in to force upon sixteen Feb 2005. As of Nov 2007, 178 parties have validated the protocol. Of these, 36 grown countries (plus the EU as the celebration in the own right …

  1. Whose the “tool” here? Who is the one who presented his argument in an intelligent manner? Who is the one that threw a hissy fit like a 12 year old? Your religion of global warming is clouding your ability to think.

  2. You are an uneducated tool. Please don’t add your ignorant filth into the gene pool. We already have enough fools to go around.

  3. The chemical content of our atmosphere is in a constant state of flux. The temperature of our planet has also been much hotter and much colder. Climate scientists will not dispute this fact. What is troubling is the rate at which the chemical composition of the atmosphere is changing. The amount of CO2 in the atmosphere has tripled since the industrial revolution. When you live in a dynamic geosystem like our own, it is troubling. Doubt global warming? Get a PhD first. Then we’ll talk.

  9. Um yeah and its pretty much a fact we dont have anything to do with it.

  10. So then you would propose that we all stop breathing to reduce CO2 emissions? Did you know that Co2 helps plants grow and provide us with oxygen? Do you know anything at all? The answer is no to all three sir, and i dont appreciate people like you supporting legislation to destroy our lives over a phony scare. Get out of my country you marxist,

  11. Well, the earth has heated up, and cooled down all the time right? But to say that our co2 emissions doesn’t affect global climate is the same as thinking that adding flame to wood isn’t risky at all. There’s a huge percentage of climate scientists that say they believe human co2 emissions help boost natural climate change so that we reach the dangerous tippingpoint.

  12. Wait so does BR believe in Global Warming or what? I don’t get it.

  13. wtfallnamestaken101:

It is certainly possible that the Earth is entering a warming period, the danger is that by adding our own emissions to it we may reach a tipping point where the heat continues to build and the world will become like Venus. Venus was Earth-like one billion years ago but an overabundance of carbon dioxide caused it to become the hell hole it is now. Don’t think that nature will necessarily sort out our mess, it is certainly possible to irrevocably damage our planet.

  14. hmm thats an interesting take on the song Kotzu1337, maybe i was taking it too literally…

to nicolesamsonite: yes i know but the popularly propagated bs i was referring too was the idea that its our fault, the earth has heated up and cooled down many times over the eons, you’ve heard of an ice age right? well we’re still coming out of one.

  15. um its pretty much a fact that the earth is heating up

  17. Uhh BR did NOT get it wrong this time, and I’ll tell you why. The veracity of global warming is not the question here, as the message of the song isn’t “Everybody accept the Kyoto Protocol”. This song is about fighting for whatever it is you feel is right and not remaining on the sidelines. “Kyoto, now!” is a metaphor for whatever it is you hold as an ideal or goal, and not waiting around like a lazy bum for “someone else to make it right”.

  18. oh, and about the ozone, healing by itself, do a google search, tis true

    Comment by wtfallnamestaken101 — July 24, 2009 @ 4:37 am

  19. global warming is bullshit, kill all the cows in the world and get rid of the sea and yeh we would get rid of like 90% of greenhouse gases, and fuck up the natural climate cyclke of the earth which would be infinitely damaging.

sorry BR u got it wrong this time, but ur more often right than most bands that seem to have a political agenda so, like jesus ;) i can forgive

  22. i know a comment about the song seems a big strange.. but you have to consider the fact that i’m sure the song was writen with the intention of stiring things up and causing discussions exactly like this.

    Comment by MIAHKNIGHT1 — July 24, 2009 @ 4:37 am

  23. Whoa, a comment actually about the song? Pretty radical, considering the nonsense that led up to it.

    Comment by Kotzu1337 — July 24, 2009 @ 4:37 am

  24. Countries that ratify this protocol commit to reducing their emissions of carbon dioxide and five other greenhouse gases (GHG), or engaging in emissions trading if they maintain or increase emissions of these gases.

It say and 5 others you know
