    Its because they always call for “Arab Unity” which was started by Jamal Abdul’Naser. I’m Egyptian but personally i believe it was on the right rote when we were under Ottoman’s authority. Al Azhar was governing the internal affairs and the King was handling the International affairs. At that time Egypt was on it peak, even better than the times of the pharaohs.

    from my understanding ‘turning the other cheek’ means if someone slaps when cheek you give them the other cheek to slap. i was agreeing with Scheur on this point but I think you took ‘turn the other cheek’ as forgiving instead of revenge.
