  1. America wasn’t founded on Judeao Christian beliefs, America was secular when it was created. This notion that were a Christian nation is BS! Obama didn’t disregard anything, he made valid points…. which he seems to do a lot, when he points things out, but FOX NEWS tends to twist his words around (somehow) and makes him sound bad… like when Obama called America arrogant but he also talked about Europe but Fox reported it ONLY as Obama called America arrogant.

  3. This is so naiive it is silly.
    Consider this:
The US has a secular government.
The US is a Christian nation.
Those two positions do not contradict one another.
Christianity has a huge, probably the major influence on our government by virtue of the fact that most members of the government are Christians.
It started that way and it continues that way.
    Duh

  5. You missed my LOL. I know Islam, nor Christianity, nor Judaism are focused primarily on prohibitions against homosexuality. i just enjoy taunting these racists on Youtube who are working very hard against organized religion.
They are all bigots of course, thinking that they are the one’s in the right and everyone else is wrong. Of course Islam sees the Quran as superseding the Torah. All religions exist as the true religion at the expense of other eligions.

  8. Your facts are incorrect. Islam sees merit in the Hebrew Scriptures, but it sees the Qu’ran as superseding them. Also, outside of certain extreme groups, these religions are not focused primarily on the issue of homosexuality. If that were so, prohibitions against homosexuality would be found more than just in the parts of the Torah delineating the laws for Israelites (Deuteronomy and Leviticus).

I’m not entirely sure what 7th grade history book you’re reading, but I would look it up.

  17. Islam and Christianity are not really that far apart. They have the same books in their religion. the Old Testament (The Torah in Judaism) and the Psalms. They share the same prophets from God including Jesus for Islam, excluding Mohammed for Christianity. The message from both religions is pretty much the same overall. They both believe homosexuality is a mortal sin and will result in hellfire forever. LOL
That is really what this is about. Gays vs Religion.
    Intolerance of religion is racism.

  18. Trying to hide the fact that we are a predominately Christian country would raise suspicions about why we were trying to hide it. Turks don’t hide their Muslim beliefs. No Egyptian or Saudi or Jordanian or Syrian would pretend not to be Islamic. Makes no sense to deny that the US is a Christian oriented country.

  19. guys all the president said is the country is not a pacifist country not part of theocracy or organized religion,

Church and State are separate and the U.S.A religion is this…. “FREE religion”.

Why should we announce our self christian? I mean that would make the war look like a holy war no?

  21. Run for President and then don’t go an then you can be a story on Fox news.
It is notable only because most of our Presidents, well, all of our Presidents since I can remember, have made it a practice to go to Church on Sunday. I believe Obama went to Church yesterday, Easter. You got a problem with that?

  26. Deut 13:13 Certain men, the children of Belial are gone out from among you & drawing inhabitants of their city to idol worship. The crime is committed by the cities of Israel, today (cities of our states)that lay within the jurisdiction of their(our)courts. The administration of justice. Faithful worshippers must take all occassions to show their just indignation against idolatry, atheism, irreligion & infidelity. Therefore, the cities are become ruin for a crime relating purely to religion. It was a crime then & it is a crime now.
